Customer Service Agreement:

Our commitment is to provide high quality personal training.  Pulse Fitness is dedicated to helping you achieve your health & fitness goals. Our specialised training services are customer focused and are individually designed to meet your specific needs.

We endeavor to provide ongoing support, motivation, guidance and education to get the results you truly deserve. At Pulse Fitness we believe in our services and being accountable for reaching your goals, results are guaranteed.

Your commitment to us:

  • Stay focused on your goals.
  • Attend all scheduled appointments on time.
  • Arrive early and perform a pre-exercise warm up.
  • Always train at your highest level of commitment.
  • Do not over train.
  • To follow our specialised exercise programs, including homework.
  • Introduce a sound weight management or good nutritional plan into your lifestyle.
  • Inform us of any changes to your personal details; including work/family commitments, banking, holidays, medical conditions, medication and injuries.

Monday – Friday 6am – 8pm
Saturday 6am – 12pm

Privacy Policy:

As per Privacy Act . Available upon request at reception.

Minimum Age:

The minimum age for individuals to train within the studio is 12 years old.  A parent or guardian of the child must give consent if under the age of 18.  You must be at least 16 years of age to participate in weight-based, weight-loss, resistance or group exercise training. Specialised training programmes are available for children under the age of 16.

Pricing Policy:

It is now even cheaper to train with Pulse Fitness. Training packages start from ONLY $17.50 per one hour session.  All training fees must be paid in advance.  Packages are available in 12, 24 & 48 session packs. Fortnightly Direct Debit facilities are available through Pay Smart.

Pay Smart:

Pay Smart Direct Debit Billing services offer an easy payments plan for all training packages available.  Payments are periodically debited from a nominated credit card or bank account. The payment plan scheduled is determined by the number of sessions within the package purchased. Direct Debits will be billed on a fortnightly basis and will be collected on a Friday.  Seven days notice is required to cancel.

Outstanding Accounts:

All accounts outstanding must be paid within 7 days of training.  If accounts are outstanding after 7 days then 10% interest will be added on a daily basis.  If after 14 days the account is still outstanding then we reserve the right to call on the assistance of a debt collection agency.  All costs incurred by the agency will be added to the final account.

Fee Increase:

Pulse Fitness reserves the right to increase the fees at any time, provided we give you one month’s written notice, sent to your current address.  It will be taken that you have received this notice on the second business day, after we post them.

Cancellation Policy:

This agreement may only be terminated in writing.  If this agreement is terminated prior to the end of completing all of the agreed sessions, a fee of 50% of the remaining sessions shall be charged.  These Terms & Conditions are subject to a cooling-off period of 48 hours from the time of signature, within which the client of Pulse Fitness may terminate the agreement. (As per Fair Trading Act 1987 – Fair Trading (Fitness Industry Code of Practice) Regulations 2004, Section 15, 1 (e). Available upon request at Reception.

Session Cancellation:

A 24 hour notice period is required if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment. In the event of a late cancellation or failure to attend, that session will be forfeited.  In the event that we have to cancel your appointment or a trainer is not available for your scheduled appointment, we will re-schedule that session and an additional session will be credited to you.

Studio Rules:

Club Etiquette - We require all clients and guests to wear suitable clothing (non-offensive) and appropriate sporting footwear when using our facilities. It is also paramount that personal hygiene is considered when visiting the studio.  Please remember to bring a sweat towel and water bottle to every training session.
Offensive language/ behaviour will not be tolerated at Pulse Fitness.

Right of Admission - We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person and have the right to cancel your training sessions without warning or notice for inappropriate behaviour that may be deemed threatening, obscene or harassing.

Damage - You are responsible for any damage and associated costs which you or your guest may cause to the studio facilities, if such damage is caused by your wilful act or negligence.

Risk Warning:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you correctly operate or use any facilities and/or equipment provided by Pulse Fitness, including the adjustment of levels or settings on the equipment. If you are in any doubt as to how to operate any equipment correctly you should consult a member of staff before use.

Medical Condition:

Please keep us informed if your medical condition changes at any time during your training session.  Please also keep us informed with any health related issues that may affect your ability to train at your highest level.

Marketing & Promotional Merchandise:

Approval will be sought by Pulse Fitness staff before using any personal images in any marketing or promotional material.


Complaints & Feedback:

Your feedback is very important to us.  Please assist us by providing positive or negative feedback so that we can improve our services available to you.  We will endeavour to assist you with your concerns promptly and without prejudice.  Please speak with our staff immediately if you have any issue that may arise, so that they can assist you. If you feel our staff have not adequately dealt with your concern, please contact the Director - Mal King.

Contractors:

We engage contractors to provide some of our services, such as personal training and massage. Any claim which you might have as a result of an act or failure to act by such contractor (whether or not payment has been made to the contractor) will be brought against that contractor and not Pulse Fitness. You hereby release and indemnify and keep indemnified, Pulse Fitness for any claim suffered by you as a result of an act or omission by a contractor engaged by Pulse Fitness. Pulse Fitness will at all times assist, where possible, to resolve any conflict or issues with contractors.
